During a cycle, are the drain pump and the circulation pump supposed to be activated at the same time? When running a rinse and spin cycle (without water being connected) I see that one of them doesn't spin. I assume both are supposed to work in tandem cycle and drain...

Very good explanation - I don't think I'll bother trying to take the motor out of my Beko though as I think it's the carbon brushes that need replacing as it was sparking and lighting up when I took the back off - you said at the end though that if you find any of these faults then the whole motor needs replacing? You can't just replace the carbon brushes? Probably not worth the time or money to fix if I can get a new one for about £230 anyway

This could be the worst guide ever existed ,what a joke .Its funny how you think the rubber just ''stays there '' waiting for you to finish rounding it up .Then you SOMEHOW manage to get the spiral seal which is impossible to do so the lower part where is no space to move even a baby finger . Never again a hoover ,never again changing parts .

Should you descale the steamer (SC 1122 - 8yrs old) before placing the new plastic cap onto the steamer, so it doesn’t get stuck again? : Dissolving 2 descaling sticks into 1 litre of warm water. Pouring the solution into the boiler and allow it to react for approximately 8 hours. DO NOT screw the NEW safety lock onto the appliance while you are de-scaling. Thanks.

Yeah great! Followed this. Ordered o rings from espares via THEIR website. What turned up was as far from correct as it could be. Completely different size, thickness etc. They apologised and refunded the money , but I still have a leaky dishwasher!

A small black rubber tube near the bottom and just inside the rear access panel came detached from whatever it was supposed to be attached to ( I am not certain what it was) on our LG frontload washing machine and flooded our laundry room, hall, kitchen, and basement. Yes, one small detached rubber tube caused all of that. I did not find any clamp, so I reattached the tube (to whatever it is) and taped it for extra security.
